Alexandre Pol joins CIGP Group as Chief Operating Officer
CIGP comfort its position with the onboarding on Alexandre Pol as Chief Operating Officer for its Hong Kong activities and member of its Executive Committee.
Alexandre’s breadth of experience within banking management roles across the APAC region will be critical in enhancing and overseeing the firm’s Hong Kong Operations and Risk Management whilst also bringing a focus on CIGP’s governance.
Prior to joining CIGP, Alexandre gained an extensive experience in banking managements roles such as Manager for the APAC region of COO’s Office at Wells Fargo, based in Hong Kong, where he focused on enhancing governance through committees, forums, and strategic transformations for senior management.
Previously, Alexandre served as Manager for the APAC region to the COO Office at Natixis, based in Hong Kong. He led and rolled out strategic initiatives across APAC while thoughtfully supervising the significant growth of new products and activities.
Before his role with Natixis, Alexandre worked at Standard Chartered Bank, starting as Deputy Head of Equity Derivatives Middle Office, before being promoted to Head of Equity Derivatives and Regulatory Reporting, coordinating and supervising daily activities of the Bank’s Middle Office, as well as collaborating in inspections, risk/governance oversight, and various projects.
Alexandre holds a Bachelor’s degree in Science Finance from Université Panthéon-Assas in Paris, a Master in Finance from Paris’ Université and is fluent in English and French.
